At Empower Weight Loss Coaching ("Empower", "we", "our", or "us") we care about your privacy as much as we care about your transformation. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Empower Weight Loss Coaching is an online coaching practice founded by Emma Hooker ("Coach Em"). If you have questions about this policy or your data, reach us at em@empower.coach or on Instagram @emmaa.getsfit.

What we collect

When you take the quiz or book a call, we collect:

• Your first name, email, and phone number.
• Your Instagram handle (if you choose to share it — optional).
• Your quiz answers — goals, experience, life stage, and availability.
• Technical information your browser provides automatically (e.g. referrer, approximate location, device type) so we can improve the site.

If you book a call through our scheduling tool, that tool (Calendly) collects the time you picked and anything you add in the booking form, governed by their own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Send you your personalized quiz result and plan preview.
• Reach out to confirm your clarity call or answer follow-up questions.
• Send occasional coaching emails and text messages about Empower (you can opt out any time).
• Improve the site and our coaching programs based on how people use them.
• Meet legal obligations and keep the service secure.

Text messaging (SMS)

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Empower about your coaching inquiry, booked call, or program updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for support. We never share your phone number with third parties for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies from:

• Google Analytics 4 — to understand which pages are helpful.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API — to measure how ads on Instagram and Facebook are performing.
• Microsoft Clarity — for anonymized session recordings and heatmaps.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. On iOS 14.5+ you can also opt out of tracking across apps under Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

Who we share data with

We only share personal information with:

• Service providers that help us run Empower (email platform, Calendly, Cloudflare, payment processor once you become a client).
• Anyone you explicitly authorize (for example, your healthcare provider).
• Law enforcement when required by a valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

Your choices

You have the right to:

• Ask what data we have about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails or texts at any time.

Health information

Empower is a coaching practice, not a medical provider. We don't collect or store clinical medical records. The information you share in the quiz or in sessions is used only to coach you effectively. Always consult your doctor before starting any nutrition or training program.

Children

Empower is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. For meaningful changes, we'll email active clients.
